Since 1989, a group of volunteers have been providing care for the poor and homeless through a weekly evening clinic. Please browse through our site, and consider sharing in any way you can as we strive to serve those in need

Mission Statement:

To improve the physical and mental wellbeing of the homeless and nearly homeless by:  delivering comprehensive health care, sensitizing providers to the special needs of the homeless and engaging the community in meaningful contribution.

There will always be poor people in the land.

Therefore, I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land.

Who are our clinic patients?

57% are Alachua county residents
65% are homeless
65% Male, 35% Female
35% have substance abuse problems
16% suffer from mental illness
